Juan Ramos

As a person with a passion for Art as well as a degree in the same field, I see the beauty in nature and potential in others, which exemplifies the importance of my communication skills. I believe that experiencing different walks of life could enable a person to expand prior existing limitations that may subconsciously exist. In a sense, these experiences develop assertiveness, which is what I believe I can continue to expand upon as a member. While in high school, I received several awards recognizing my skill in the artistic field, including an Award for Excellence in Life Drawing from the High School of Art & Design. While at the Art Institute, I received a Dean’s List Award having earned a 3.7 GPA. Subsequently, I continued to work as an Tattoo artist which allowed me to transition into working as a muralist.

This Art is inspired by a myriad of dreams that I have experienced within the past three years; However, It was a select amount in which gave me the inspiration to do this piece. The recurring theme consisted of animal/human hybrids experiencing transformative circumstances.
