I didn't miss this opportunity to photograph my cat Tibe when he decided to sit in my artificial floral arrangement. I had this photo for years, knowing I would at some point in time either paint or draw. This current show inspired me to finally take this photograph and do just that with a twist. I computer-manipulated the photo, printed it, and then transferred it to a canvas which entailed several layers to get the image I wanted. I finalized the work with a splash of acrylic paint to enhance portions of this mixed media art.
