This piece is an abstract painting inspired by the end of the Splendor in the Grass poem, "Though nothing can bring back the hour of splendor in the grass, of glory in the flower We will grieve not, rather find Strength in what remains behind." I wanted to capture the fleeting feelings of young love, longing, and passion that we try to remember even after it's gone.
